In the lesson today we watched a text (short clip) from the movie Get carter. We watched the car park scene. I will now talk about how the charectors where represented in this scene. At the start of the scene we see three man. We clearly see who is the main character as he is much closer to the camera compared to the other two work men directed a lot further away from the camera, compared to the man in the silver suit which was stood a lot closer to the camera. This gives the impression that he is the boss and the main characater than the two men standing further away This links with the rule of thirds. Which I explained in my earlier post. Furthermore we can tell why he is the main character, as shown the man was with two other work men who were both dressed in a black suit but he was wearing a silver suit. This tells us that by what the characters are wearing tells us a lot about their role in the film. Each character is represented very well.
